Check It Out

I really enjoy this guy's blog. Maybe ` cuz he is a fellow New England-er, or, maybe it's just because he writes some funny stuff. Check out Beachbum's Daily Diverson .

Don't you just love motivational posters? I think this one says it all:

Arnold is still in the news. It seems he is putting his return to the movies on hold. If you can call playing the Terminators grandpa a return to the movies. Maybe he should just go into porn... as the "Sperminator". Ted Kennedy has got to be swilling gin and laughing his ass off, where ever he is.

Speaking of Ted Kennedy, when ever I here the words "Gin Blossoms" I don't think of the rock group or, "Found Out About You", I always think of Teddy's nose.

It's become common knowledge that Maria Shriver moved out of their home not long after "The Governator" broke the news of his love child.

I think Maria drew this on the note she left for Arnie, and no one would blame her if she did!

Schwarzenegger and Shriver are separating

It was announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are separating after twenty five years of marriage,

Arnold Schwarzenegger, 63, also know as the "Austrian Oak", the "Governator" and “Conan the Republican” is a former professional bodybuilder, actor, model, businessman and politician who served as the 38th Governor of California.  "Arnie" will soon make his return to the big screen in the film "Cry Macho," a drama about a down-on-his-luck horse trainer who is hired to kidnap a 9-year-old boy. He is also working on developing a television show and comic book based on his political nickname "The Governator."

Maria Shriver, 55, an American journalist and author of six best-selling books, a Peabody Award winner, and a two time Emmy Awards award winning executive producer has four children with Schwarzenegger.  Shriver is a Roman Catholic and a Democrat related to the Kennedy family.

They issued a joint statement saying "This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us," "After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion, and prayer, we came to this decision together."

Maybe Maria is just having second thoughts???
The couple did not indicate whether they would seek a divorce, but said they were living separately "while we work on the future of our relationship."

Politics can be a tough business. Having four children can change the family dynamic. Personal strife, the challenges that come with being a public figure and the almost certain political debates within the family can certainly make growing older an even bigger challenge (can't you just imagine the conversations between the Kennedy family and Schwarzenegger?? I mean, come on...)

Age can wear a person down. Even for the former Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia
